This Fit University station, hosted by the Academy of Sports & Fitness Training, will focus on establishing and/or improving proper form and technique of basic weight training exercises. Lifting is for everyone with numerous benefits that can lead to improvement in: muscle tone, muscle strength, bone density, body composition, posture, mental cognition, self-esteem, and overall well-being. Instructors: Learn to Lift will be led by the instructors of the Academy of Sports & Fitness Training, including Chellana Kwas, MFA, NASM-CPT, CISSN, PNL1, Emily Morin, BFA, NASM-CPT, PNL1, and Matias Pietropinto, NASM-CPT.
