LET’S RIDE TOGETHER!
Mayor Martin J. Walsh and the City of Boston are excited to announce a new multi-year partnership with EF Education First to present the 2018 Hub On Wheels citywide ride!
In collaboration with DCR, Boston Bikes and numerous corporate and community partners, this year’s 14th annual ride will take place on Sunday, September 16th, 2018.
Choose from one of two exciting routes…
DOWNTOWN ROUTE: A dozen car-free miles through the heart of the city, pedaling past iconic landmarks like Fenway Park, Boston Common, the State House, Faneuil Hall and more. This family-friendly course is free for kids (ages 10-17), accompanied by a registered parent or guardian.
EMERALD NECKLACE ROUTE: Or choose the more adventurous 40+ mile journey down car-free Storrow Drive and across the historic Emerald Necklace park system, including scenic views of The Riverway, Jamaica Pond, Arnold Arboretum, Franklin Park, Stoney Brook Reservation, Neponset River pathways and many of Boston’s vibrant neighborhoods and memorable landmarks.
Both courses start and finish on City Hall Plaza in downtown Boston.
A portion of your registration fee will automatically benefit Boston Children’s Hospital, but consider becoming a Hope Rider (or creating your own bike team!) to help raise even more funds to fight kids cancer.
